The Museum of Fife & Drum is owned and operated by the The Company of Fifers & Drummers, Inc., which also maintains its headquarters office and meeting rooms in the same building, along with the Company Archives and Music Library, repositories of invaluable reference and source material on fifing and drumming. Connecticut is the heart of fife and drum corps activity and home of The Company of Fifers & Drummers, a non-profit organization formed in 1965 to perpetuate the historical significance and folk traditions of fife and drum music and to foster the spirit of fellowship among fifers and drummers everywhere.
