The Company of Fifers and Drummers has collected over 450 accessions relating to three centuries of fife and drum music in the United States, Britain, France, Germany and Switzerland. Also available is the National Tune Index, a microfiche database of more than 58,000 secular tunes from 1636-1836. Future projects will seek to digitize our collection so that it is available for research online.
