Fife and Drum Events
The Company of Fifers & Drummers hosts events designed to support the musical development of its members, increase musical proficiency, and develop a sense of community. You will also find events hosted by its member organizations and important community events.
The Company of Fifers & Drummers would like to inform you that from February 1-February 28, the New Rochelle (NY) Public Library is presenting an exhibit on the historic Charles W. Dickerson Fife, Drum & Bugle Corps. The Company Archives Committee was pleased to provide research support for the project.
A reception will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020, from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm.

The Carnival in Basel begins on the Monday after Ash Wednesday with the "Morgestraich" at 4 am. All lights in the city centre are switched off, over 200 Carnival themes (sujets) painted on lanterns start glowing in the dark, and the signal is given for hundreds of drummers and piccolo-players to strike up the same march – a magical moment. 72 hrs of celebration follow.

Enjoy a great afternoon of music and camaraderie with your fife and drum friends at our 26th annual Jam! We will be serving complimentary beverages and will again be treating all of guests to a delicious mid-afternoon buffet!

TRAIN AS A CIVIL WAR FIELD MUSICIAN in a School modeled on the School of Practice, Governors Island, New York, circa 1861. Participants will your new skills at the closing ceremony and dress parade on Sunday afternoon, open to the public.
LIVE AS A CIVIL WAR SOLDIER from Reveille to Extinguish Lights. From 8:00 pm Friday until 3:00 pm Sunday, the schedule for all activities will be completely regulated by bugle, drum, and fife. Military volunteers provide a 24-hour guard.
Registration for the school includes hearty period meals and housing.

Saturday, June 20, 2020 Warehouse Point will be hosting the Second Annual “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Muster” Fundraiser Jam at the historic Powder Mill Barn in Enfield CT.
Jamming, food, friends, raffles, bonfire, and camping available... you know, kind of like a muster, without uniforms. Suggested donation $10. Proceeds to benefit the Powder Mill Barn and the upcoming repairs and renovations needed.

The National Muster will be hosted by The Col John Chester Fife and Drum Corps at Cove Park in Wethersfield CT from Friday, July, 10th through Saturday the 11th to celebrate the group’s 80th Anniversary.
