Learning the Music
To help with learning, we’ve posted videos of the full medleys. The one exception is “Blaze in the Cornpipe,” which is split into three separate videos to make things easier to work through. We’ll also be releasing more detailed breakdown videos for certain tunes and medleys over the next few months to help everyone prepare.
As you start digging in, a quick reminder: the music is a living document. Just like everything else in life, it isn’t perfect, so please keep an eye out for minor updates and revisions as we continue refining things.
And remember; the fife and drum community is full of great resources. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the music directors if you have questions about the music. There are also many experienced players throughout the community who would be happy to help if you’re more comfortable reaching out to them.
