Throughout the month of May, the Museum of Fife & Drum received a massive lighting upgrade through an incentive from Eversource’s Small Business Energy Advantage program.

With muster season in full swing and a few Tuesday Night / Sunday concerts under our belt, many people have asked where we are with the restoration of the Company Hall and when it will be fully usable again.

Company Clean Up Day with Valley Regional

The Warriors in the Community program at Valley Regional High School promotes community service by pairing teams of students with community needs. The Company of Fifers & Drummers HQ and Museum  hosted a team from Valley Regional on May 24 for some much needed cleanup work on the grounds and property along with a group of adult volunteers from the Company.

Successes from the April 30th Company Work Party

It was a damp and dreary day, but inside the building 10 volunteers from around New England made a fun time out of some seemingly mundane tasks (painting, electrical and lighting work, and cleaning).

Company Hall Update

It’s now early June with the muster season upon us.  It is the time in our lives that gives us some of our greatest joy.  There is nothing like seeing the happiness that we bring to the audiences, that watch and listen to the music of our great country.  We are blessed with the ability to do so.  Without further adieu, I ask you to pardon me for not being with you at the Ole Toga Muster.  To Rich and Mary, I hope all goes well and everyone enjoys your efforts.
