Update on the 2018 National Muster
The National Muster will be hosted by The Connecticut Patriots Fife and Drum Corps at the Terryville Fairgrounds in Terryville, CT from Friday, July, 13th through Sunday the 15th to celebrate the group’s 40th Anniversary. The 7 pm start to the Friday night Tattoo will feature 6 very unique fife and drum performances in addition to The Connecticut Patriots. The Rhine River Rebels (Basel, Switzerland), The Wild Bunch (Basel, Switzerland), The Camden Continentals (Camden, NY) The Regulators Fife and Drum Corps (Dover Plains, NY), Mattatuck Fife and Drum Corps (Waterbury, CT), and The United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps will each bring their own brand of fife and drum to the Tattoo concert.
The muster will start promptly at 11 am Saturday with over 30 groups marching a short parade through the fairgrounds. After the parade, each corps will perform a short exhibition on the muster field. The Terryville Fairgrounds is truly the perfect muster location with barns for late-night jamming, brand new bathroom facilities/showers, electric and water hookups for campers, and food being sold all weekend by the Lions Club. Of course, no Patriot’s event would be complete without an unforgettable muster meal!
For more information about the event or to find out how your drum corps can attend, please visit The Connecticut Patriots website.

Stories from the Parade Route
On April 17th, the Bristol County Fifes and Drums marched through the rain, sleet, and snow to participate in the annual re-creation of the Isaac Davis Trail march to Concord, MA. They were joined by a musical guest who was connected to them by the Action Minutemen and the Make-A-Wish foundation turning the event into a day they won’t forget.

The Duke Terreri Centennial
2018 would be the 100th birthday of Alfred “Duke” Terreri, a beloved figure in our community and a huge contributor to The Company of Fifers & Drummers. This year we will be featuring Duke and his legacy with a number of activities, and will kick off the “Year of Duke” by re-sharing a biography lovingly written by his friends from the Ancient Times, Summer 2001.
Please enjoy: Alfred “Duke” Terreri - A Remembrance
Duke’s musical legacy will also be celebrated with a concert, 100 Years of Duke: A Musical Tribute to Duke Terreri at the Company of Fifers & Drummers HQ and Museum on August 21st.
