Karen Cynthia (KC) Osborn, 70, lifelong resident of Branford passed away on August 27, 2022.  Born on November 9, 1951, in New Haven, daughter of the late S. Robert and Lois Osborn.  Pre-deceased by Brother-In-Law Bob Henninger.

Karen OsbornKaren is survived by her treasured sisters Marilyn Henninger of Clinton, Gail (Michael) Pappas of Guilford, and Wendy (Mike) McDermott of Clinton; Nieces and Nephews Amanda and Mike Yoders, Rebecca and Jim Dumais, Andrew and Casey Pappas, Sarah and Tim Wininger, Paige and Ryan Weaver, Brian and Ela McDermott and Kevin and Em McDermott.  As well as dear cousins, eleven great nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Karen graduated from Branford High School (1969) and went on to receive her degree from Champlain College in Burlington, VT.  She had a long and valued career as a legal secretary for Wiggin and Dana LLP.  Karen was a founding member of the Totoket Ancient Fife and Drum Corps and a longtime member of The Shoreliners Square Dance Club.  Karen enjoyed volunteering at the James Blackstone Memorial Library sorting books for their book sales and was a member of the Branford Historical Society.

Karen enjoyed spending time canoeing, playing croquet and card games at The Cottage with family, hiking the trails in Westwoods, traveling extensively with her college friend Laurie, weekend trips to New Jersey to spend time with her cousin Nancy and Fran and vacationing on Anna Maria Island, FL.  Her family enjoyed her desserts, which always came with a disclaimer.
